Exterior Doors Replacement Cathcart

Exterior doors replacement in Cathcart is something West Windows & Doors has been doing expertly for over four decades. If your front entry, patio doors, or side doors are showing their age-letting in drafts, sticking in their frames, or just looking tired-you've got a straightforward solution: professional replacement with quality materials installed by people who know your neighbourhood.

Cathcart homeowners have trusted West Windows & Doors because we're local, we show up when we say we will, and we stand behind our work with a rock-solid 5-year warranty. We don't outsource installation to third parties; our own trained teams do the work, which means accountability starts and ends with us.

What makes exterior door replacement worth doing right now?

Old doors are energy thieves. They let conditioned air escape, which means your heating and cooling system works harder and your energy bills climb. When you replace worn doors with new ones from premium brands like Marvin and Fibercraft, you're sealing those gaps and getting better insulation in the process. Most homeowners see measurable energy savings within the first year.

Beyond the utility bill, new doors transform how your home looks and feels. A fresh entry door makes a statement when someone arrives at your house. Patio doors that slide smoothly and seal tight turn your back yard into a space you actually use instead of avoid. And because a quality door is built to last, you're protecting your investment in the home itself-new doors add real value if you ever decide to sell.

Safety matters too. Older doors with worn locks and compromised seals are security risks. New doors come with modern hardware, better weather seals, and frames that fit properly, giving you peace of mind that wasn't there before.

How does West Windows & Doors handle exterior door replacement in Cathcart?

The process starts with a site visit where we look at your existing doors, measure the openings, talk about what you want, and show you the options. We carry Marvin, Strassburger, and Fibercraft-three brands known for durability and performance. You get to choose the style, colour, and material that fits your home and your budget.

Once you decide, our in-house installation team schedules the work. They arrive with the right tools, remove the old door carefully, prep the opening, and install the new one with precision. Because these are our own crews-not contractors we hire once and never see again-they take pride in the work and you get consistent quality.

The whole process, from consultation to finished installation, is straightforward. We handle the details so you don't have to.
